Mintel 2018 Flavor Trends content marketing campaign

This content piece was produced to showcase one of Mintel’s expert analyst teams and the type of insights they offer. As the lead designer, I created the concept, artwork and layout of the content piece and oversaw the execution of the digital assets.

Concept: The piece categorizes and discusses different flavors’ presence in the market from “mainstream” to “on the fringe.” The topic lends itself to beautiful, colorful imagery of the foods these flavors come from. While staying within the brand guidelines, I wanted to emphasize both of these main points with the design. I chose to visualize these levels with the circle and show the most prominent flavors on the inside and the least prominent on the outside.

Design: Throughout the design, you can see the circle shape repeated and the addition of large blocks of color behind text. These color blocks were used to pull the colors of the wheel throughout the piece, and more importantly to highlight the flavors in that section.

Full campaign included: eBook web version and printed version of content piece, email images, email signature banner, landing page assets, social media images and digital ads.
